Strike Tanaka’s Servamp manga first launched in Kadokawa’s Comic Gene magazine back in 2011, and now it’s almost time to bid it a fond farewell. With the release of the 21st collected volume in Japan comes word that the series will end in its 23rd volume. That puts the ending on the calendar for sometime in 2024, which will see the release of volumes 22 and 23.
The Servamp manga entered its final arc with volume 20. The series was previously adapted into a TV anime in July 2016—directed by Hideaki Nakano at Brain’s Base and Platinum Vision—with Funimation streaming the series both subbed and dubbed in English.
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the mana in English and has released 19 volumes as of October 17, 2023. Here’s the official synopsis:
When a stray black cat named Kuro crosses Mahiru Shirota’s path, the high school freshman’s life will never be the same again. Kuro is, in fact, no ordinary feline, but a servamp: a servant vampire. While Mahiru’s personal philosophy is one of non-intervention, he soon becomes embroiled in an ancient, altogether surreal conflict between vampires and humans.
