Featured Spotlight: Anime Frontier
There’s a lot going on at this weekend’s Anime Frontier 2022 event, and the outlook is even brighter for fans of all things Ultraman! The latest big screen outing, Shin Ultraman, is getting a very special screening event at Anime Frontier, so read on for all the details below and get ready to shout “Shuwatch!” along with Tsuburaya’s iconic tokusatsu hero.
The Shin Ultraman screening is set for 1:00pm on Sunday, December 4 on the Main Stage, and general seating will be first come, first served with Anime Frontier 3-Day or Sunday admission. There will also be Limited Reserved seats given away by Anime Frontier, Ultraman Connection and Fathom Events.
As for the film itself, you won’t want to miss this one. Shin Ultraman was written by Hideaki Anno (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shin Godzilla) and directed by Shinji Higuchi (Shin Godzilla, live-action Attack on Titan), serving as both a love letter to the classic Japanese hero and a bold rebirth that fans of all ages will enjoy.
