See BONES’s Super Crooks Anime in Action in Full Trailer

Mark Millar and artist Leinil Francis Yu’s Super Crooks graphic novel is coming to Netflix in an anime produced by BONES (My Hero Academia), and more info is here along with a full trailer. Motonobu Hori (Carole & Tuesday) is directing the adaptation, with Dai Sato (Eureka Seven) on series composition and Takashi Mitani (animation director on episodes of My Hero Academia) handling character designs.

DJ/producer TOWA TEI is on the anime’s soundtrack, which will be released in Japan on November 27.

Kenjiro Tsuda was previously announced as protagonist Johnny alongside Maaya Sakamoto as his partner, Casey. Now we have ten more members of the Japanese voice cast, including:

Synopsis:

Luck’s never been on their side, but this crew of small-time crooks with super powers recruited by none other than Johnny Bolt are rolling the dice on one last heist. Their target: A ruthless super-powered crime boss. What can go wrong? Based on the graphic novel of the same name by comic book legend Mark Millar, this super-powered heist story about eight super-villains is jam-packed with action and told in 13x 30-minute episodes, lushly produced by Bones.
