Specifically, the 2009 CG film by famed anime director Rintaro (Galaxy Express 999, Metropolis) is set to premiere at the American Museum of Natural History as part of their Bollywood and Anime in America series.
The series takes place over the course of Saturday and Sunday, April 17-18. Yona Yona plays on the 17th at 3:45, but that’s not the only animated feature showing that weekend. At noon the following day, Sunday April 18, they’ll also be showing Tomoki Kyoda’s Eureka Seven: Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers.
You can get some more information at the link below—including the schedule for an Anime Talk Panel and an Anime Galleria—and be sure to take a peek at the Yona Yona Penguin trailer while you’re at it (source link). Let us know if you have any plans on attending either showing!
