Under-21-year-olds (or 20, if you’re in Japan), avert your eyes! A liqueur inspired by Re:Zero — Starting Life in Another World is about to hit the streets.
Specifically, the liqueur is based on Echidna’s infamous “tea.” It’s described as having a “complex, rich flavor” and a “mellow aroma” achieved using brandy and cacao. It also comes with a acrylic coaster of Echidna in pixellated form. A 500ml bottle costs 6,990 yen ($48) from online retailer Kurand, with pre-orders starting in July. I kind of suspect they only ship to addresses in Japan.
A fourth season of the Re:Zero anime is set for 2026. It will co-star new addition Fairouz Ai (Jolyne Cujoh in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean) as Shaula.
