What is Project SYN? All we know about it so far is that it’s a mysterious new sci-fi project, featuring a story set in 2222 in which humanity encounters its new neighbor. Thanks to a live stream program on August 13, we have a few more details to go on, as well as an equally mysterious promo featuring various visual styles throughout, from video games to live-action and beyond.
Project SYN features Yui Ishikawa as Ada and Aoi Koga as Noir, with both acting as support, not pilots, for the project’s mecha. neco (FALSLANDER, Racing Miku 2022) is in charge of character designs and Ippei Gyoubu (Amaim Warrior at the Borderline) is in charge of mechanical designs. Further information is expected this September, so for now we’ll have to make do with the promo below.
