We recently posted about pop group Blush providing the theme song for Glitter Force, Saban’s localization of the Smile PreCure! anime. Now there’s an official first-look video previewing the series, which debuts in English as a Netflix exclusive on December 18.
The 20-episode first season of Glitter Force will be available on the streaming service worldwide except for Asia. You can see the trailer, followed by the official synopsis, below.
Synopsis:
Glitter Force is an adapted version of Toei Animation’s successful Japanese anime television series, Pretty Cure (or PreCure). The new series follows five preteen girls who learn that they are a legendary superhero squad known as the Glitter Force and must defend Earth from evil fairytale villains.
