More details have been revealed for the second season of the One Room TV anime, including a premiere date and new studio and staff members. One Room Second Season kicks off in Japan on July 2, and anime studio Zero-G (DIVE!!) is taking over production duties from Typhoon Graphics.
Season 2 brings Takuya Tani (animation director for One Room episodes 5-8) on board for animation character designs and chief animation direction, while Shinji Takasuka joins as art director along with the returning Hiroki Matsumoto. Other than those changes, as well as new color key artist Atsushi Furukawa, the rest of the principal staff will remain the same.
Inori Minase is getting in on the cast as 21-year-old college student Mashiro Amatsuki, a shy girl who lives in the same mansion as the protagonist, to whom she quickly becomes a confidant. Rie Takahashi plays 17-year-old high school student Minori Nanahashi, and M.A.O. is returning as 17-year-old Hokkaido native Yui Hanasaka, who is in Tokyo for her college entrance exams.
