One Piece Remake Reveals Main Staff at WIT Studio

It’s been a while since we heard news about THE ONE PIECE, the One Piece remake anime that’s in the works at WIT Studio. More info finally came out of One Piece Day ’24, and though we didn’t get a trailer or a release window, we at least now know the main staff behind it.

Masashi Koizuka (Attack on Titan) is directing THE ONE PIECE, with Hideaki Abe (JUJUTSU KAISEN episode 15 director) as assistant director. Taku Kishimoto (Ranking of Kings) is on series composition, Kyoji Asano and Takatoshi Honda are on character designs and chief animation direction, Yasuhiro Kajino is creature designer and concept artist and Eri Taguchi is prop designer.

Rounding out the main staff for the One Piece remake are action animators Ken Imaizumi and Shuhei Fukuda, as well as art director Tomonori Kuroda.
