Dr. Vegapunk is one of the central characters of the One Piece anime’s ongoing Egghead Island arc, and his English dub voice actor has officially been unveiled.
As announced via a recording of Crunchyroll’s The Anime Effect podcast at San Diego Comic-Con, Kent Williams is the voice behind Dr. Vegapunk in English. Fans will recognize Williams as the voice of an earlier One Piece character, as he also voiced Kuro during the East Blue Saga.
Williams was on The Anime Effect with fellow One Piece voice actors Robert McCollum (Donquixote Doflamingo) and Chris Rager (Blackbeard, Arlong). The episode will be available via Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Crunchyroll and the Crunchyroll YouTube channel starting on Friday, August 2.
