If you’re a One Piece manga reader you know Gear 5 is one of the most exciting moments of the series in recent years, and we’ll eventually get to see it in animated form when the anime adapts it. For now, we’ll have to be content with Gear 5 Luffy appearing in the new visual for One Piece Day 2023, which aims to be the biggest event in series’ history when it kicks off later next month.
One Piece Day 2023 is scheduled to be held at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo on July 21 and 22, including a cheer screening of One Piece Film Red on the first day and stage events, an exhibition and other activities on the second. Tickets are currently available for free via lottery with online streams of stage events planned for July 22.
