Official Site Teases Live-action Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Though this is certainly the very essence of a teaser, one that’s all in Japanese to boot, the official site for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time now offers a glimpse at what to expect from Masaaki Taniguchi’s live-action take on the story.

Following the act of Mamoru Hosoda‘s 2006 animated feature—which itself took place twenty years after the events of Yasutaka Tsutsui’s novel—the live version of Girl stars Riisa Naka, who also voiced Makoto in the anime. The film is set to premiere at Cinequanon’s Human Trust Cinema Shibuya and Yurakucho 1-chome in March of next year. Check out the trailer below, and here’s the link to the official site.
