Nijiiro Days Anime Set for January

Minami Mizuno’s shōjo romantic comedy manga Nijiiro Days (Rainbow Days) is getting an anime adaption, featuring Tetsuro Amino (Broken Blade) as chief director and Tomihiko Ohkubo (Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals) directing at Production Reed. The TV anime now has a start month, with the broadcast set to kick off in Japan in January 2016.

As for the casting, an open audition was announced, with contestants able to enter at DAM  Tomo karaoke bars from October 15 to November 23. The winner will get the chance to voice Ishida-san in episode 6, and 5 runner-ups chosen from a drawing will get promo posters.
