It’s been a long wait since the NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime took a break due to COVID-19 related delays, but a return date is finally in place. The anime adapting the game by Yoko Taro will return to screens in Japan on July 23, and best of all, it won’t be starting over from the beginning!
All four upcoming episodes will air on the same day with the official website noting that episodes 9, 10, 11 and 12 will debut on Tokyo MX starting at 7:00pm on July 23. International distribution details have yet to be determined for the remaining episodes, but hopefully streaming won’t be too far behind.
