December 9, 2010 Anime distributor Section23 recently rolled out a fresh slew of acquisition announcements. Among them is Shin Koihime†Musō, a show based on BaseSon’s series of adult adventure games, which is loosely based on the classic novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. They’ll be releasing the Shin Koihime†Musō Complete Collection on March 1.
That’s not all that’s showing up on Sentai Filmworks/Section23’s 2011 lineup. They’ve got the follow-up series, Shin Koihime†Musō: Otome Tairan—which originally aired in 2009—coming to North America in May.
Before that, fans can be on the lookout for their March 8 release of the Akane-Iro ni Somaru Saka Complete Collection. Section23 confirmed with ANN that the adult adventure game-based collection will include the 12-episode television series and the OVA.
Other upcoming titles include the dubbed and subtitled release of the Clannad theatrical film on March 15, the third Ghost Sweeper Mikami collection on March 22, and dubbed and subtitled Blu-ray and DVD collections of the Guin Saga anime.
