New Manga Releases Coming This Month from Titan Manga

Titan's new manga releases are heating up the summer!

Titan Manga is bringing new manga titles in print to the West—ranging from classic graphic novels to new interpretations of beloved titles. To close out July, they have a slew of new offerings from titles old and new. And leading them off is the first volume of an otherworldly video game adventure.

Whether you’re into retro anime, isekai, romance, or adventure, keep an eye out for these new manga releases from Titan!

My Name Is Zero

My Name Is Zero

For fans of Sword Art Online and other far-too-immersive gaming stories, Titan has a new manga for you to peruse. Hana Shinohara’s My Name Is Zero stars Rei Kanzaki, a down-on-his-luck orphan trying to pay off medical debts to keep Mio, his comatose sister, alive. After following a link in an email, he finds himself transported to a video game world with real money payoffs. While he continues to live daytime hours IRL, he enters the game in his dreams, along with more than 700,000 other debt-ridden players.

There’s just one problem: if you die in the game, you die in real life! Most players aren’t aware that their previous deaths and resurrections were during a new player protection period, but Rei has seen it happen. Now, armed with a psychic ability that takes on new meaning in the game world, he’ll do everything he can to stay alive and save his sister.

Burst Angel

Burst Angel

New manga isn’t all Titan is serving up this summer. Minoru Mirao’s Burst Angel, a prequel to Gonzo’s 2004 anime of the same name, is also coming to print! Fans of girls-with-guns titles, as well as fans of the anime itself, will want to check out this deep dive into the world of the story.

This manga zooms in on the first meeting between Jo and Meg, as they enter the lives of a boy named Takeru. The original series ran for three volumes, so you can get a running start on the series with the first volume!

And more…

The Witch of Thistle Castle

There’s much more new manga coming to Titan as July comes to a close. Notably, John Tarachine’s Witch of Thistle Castle comes to an end in its fourth volume. Meanwhile, Atom: The Beginning continues its journey to the story of Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy in Volume 8. Three Exorcism Siblings also continues with Volume 2. Mamoru, trained to fight Tengu, will continue to attempt to keep his younger siblings safe from his way of life. But will he manage it?

Keep an eye on the Titan Manga website for all these releases and more to come!
