This April Magi fans can look forward to the anime adaptation of the Magi: Adventure of Sinbad spinoff manga by Shinobu Ohtaka and Yoshifumi Ōtera. The series will kick off as part of MBS’s Animeism block this April, with the staff and cast from the previously-released OVAs returning.
While we’re a few months out from the debut, Aniplex posted an announcement promo to hype up the adaptation. If the video’s text is anything to go by, it looks like the anime could potentially cover the Baal, Valefor, Badr, Sasan, and Artemyra arcs.

Yoshikazu Miyao (Inazuma Eleven) directs Adventure of Sinbad, with Taku Kishimoto (Haikyu!!) on scripts for the Lay-duce production.
