New Made in Abyss Anime Film Premieres Next January

After the pair of Made in Abyss compilation movies—the first of which has its English-dubbed screening scheduled for tonight in the United States—there’s a brand new feature on the way. Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul has director Masayuki Kojima returning to Kinema Citrus along with writer Hideyuki Kurata and composer Kevin Penkin, and the latest update via AnimeJapan has its Japanese premiere lined up for January of 2020.

Those who picked up advance tickets at AnimeJapan were able to snag an acrylic smartphone stand. While we wait for more info on the new film, you can see the recently-revealed key visual (and the smartphone stand) below.
