New Macross Delta Anime Film Scheduled for 2020

As revealed during the Flying Dog 10th Anniversary Live ‘Inu Fes’ event, which took place in Tokyo on Saturday, the new Macross Delta anime film has a loose release window. Following up on last September’s announcement of the new entirely new project, series director Shoji Kawamori said he intends to release it in 2020.
The Macross Delta TV anime originally ran from April to September 2016, and last year’s Gekijō-ban Macross Delta: Gekijō no Walkūre compiled the anime in theatrical film form with some added sequences. Stay tuned for more info on the brand new project.
