Further plans have been confirmed for Necromancer Isekai: How I Went from Abandoned Villager to the Emperor’s Favorite, which is the English title of the anime adapting Nazuna Miki’s Mukuwarenakatta Murabito A, Kizoku ni Hirowarete Dekiai Sareru Ue ni: Jitsu wa Motteita Densetsu-kyū no Kami Skill mo Kakusei Shita light novel series. REMOW announced plans to distribute the series globally outside of Japan, with worldwide streaming platforms to be announced at a later date.

In the meantime, the main cast and the English logo have been revealed. Here’s the leading lineup:

  • Maaya Uchida voices Matteo
  • Yuki Yomichi voices Ishtar
  • Sayako Tojo voices Hecate
  • Mei Igarashi voices Metis

In Necromancer Isekai, Matteo is reincarnated as an aristocrat’s grandson, and soon begins using ancient magic and hatching dragon eggs. What will happen when the emperor, who has a secret identity, learns of his abilities and decides to check them out? Miki first debuted the series via the Shosetsuka ni Naro (Let’s Become Novelists) site back in May 2020.

Masahiko Komino (Gibiate) directs, with Tsutomu Kaneko overseeing scripts and Junko Yamanaka handling character designs for the l-a-unchBOX production.
