Despite the delay, there are still more episodes of the Naruto anime on the way to celebrate the adaptation’s 20th anniversary. Speaking of celebrations, Naruto Uzumaki had his birthday on October 10, and the official Shonen Jump YouTube channel marked the occasion with another special manga trailer. This one focuses on the tumultuous friendship and rivalry between Naruto and Sasuke.
Prior to that, the channel shared a trailer that looks back at the long journey Naruto took from plucky outcast to Hokage.
There’s another, titled “Rasengan,” due out today.
The Naruto, Naruto Shippuden and BORUTO: NARUTO NEXT GENERATIONS anime are all available to watch on Crunchyroll, with VIZ Media releasing them on home video.
VIZ publishes the manga by Misashi Kishimoto in English and sums up the story:
Twelve years ago the Village Hidden in the Leaves was attacked by a fearsome threat. A nine-tailed fox spirit claimed the life of the village leader, the Hokage, and many others. Today, the village is at peace and a troublemaking kid named Naruto is struggling to graduate from Ninja Academy.
