Writer Satoru Yamaguchi and illustrator Nami Hidaka’s My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom novels—as well as the Villainess anime adaptation—are steeped in the world of otome games. Now, in a stunning bit of turnabout, those very novels and anime are inspiring an otome game of their own from Idea Factory’s Otomate division, this time featuring an original story.
The story of My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! ~The Pirate Who Summons Trouble~ is set after the events of the the Graduation Ceremony. Catarina may have cleared her doom flags, but now she’s got to face the trouble a handsome pirate captain named Silva throws into the mix.
The Villainess anime will get the game treatment when the otome spin on the series launches in Japan sometime in 2021.
