Muv-Luv Schwarzesmarken Anime Announced

There’s officially more Muv-Luv anime on the way. Schwarzesmarken is a prequel to Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, and according to the announcement by adult visual novel developer Age, it’s being adapted into a fall anime series.

Schwarzesmarken started off as a novel written by Hiroki Uchida, with character designs and illustrations by CARNELIAN. Set in 1983, the story follows the East German Army’s 666th TSF Squadron throughout battles, political struggles, and BETA attacks. The novel series ran for seven volumes and a short story collection.
