Way back in 2023, we learned that the mobile game #COMPASS -Combat Providence Analysis System would be getting an anime series. Now that series, #COMPASS2.0, has an airdate. The series (whose full title is #COMPASS2.0 -Combat Providence Analysis System) will debut on April 7.
The series is directed by Hitoshi Nanba (Golden Kamuy) at Lay-duce, and stars Daisuke Ono, Soma Saito and Sora Amamiya. The opening theme, “Hakudō,” is performed by Nana Mizuki. You can hear it below:
The ending theme is “Heartache” by Yuma Uchida.
A live event for the series is planned for this year’s AnimeJapan on March 23 between 4:20 and 4:50pm Japan time.
Here’s how NDN Playart Corp. describes #COMPASS:
#COMPASS—Combat Providence Analysis System is a real-time online strategy game in which three players team up and battle against other teams to capture points placed on a virtual map. One battle lasts for three minutes. In addition, to prepare for battles, players can collect skill cards that allow a variety of strategies through different card combinations and arm themselves with the strongest deck of cards. This is a PvP game of an entirely new genre, in which the elements of action games, strategy games and card games are all condensed and packed into three-minute-long battles.
