ONE, the original creator of the One-Punch Man webcomic that started it all, has another work heading to the world of anime this year. Mob Psycho 100 follows Mob, a boy who keeps his psychic powers bottled up so he can appear normal. If his emotional capacity hits 100% he will explode.
Following up on the previous announcement of the adaptation, a promo was posted on the official website teasing the production with some more info on the cast and staff. See the teaser video below.
Death Parade director Yuzuru Tachikawa directs the anime, with Hiroshi Seko (Ajin) on scripts, Yoshimichi Kameda (animation director on One-Punch Man) on character designs, Kazuhiro Wakabayashi (Eureka Seven) on sound direction, and Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell) on music for the BONES production.
Setsuo Itō voices Shigeo “Mob” Kageyama and Takahiro Sakurai voices Arataka Reigen.
