Ayumi Komura, the creator of the popular shojo manga series Mixed Vegetables, has just debuted a new manga series. Called Henshoku Kyūketsuki wa Hito no Chi ga Kirai (translated as The Vampire With an Unbalanced Diet Hates Human Blood), it’s about a 28-year-old manga creator who travels to the forest and runs into a vampire. She thinks he’s going to kill her, but if she touches him it takes away his need to drink blood. The manga is described as a romantic comedy.
The manga made its digital debut May 15 on the Comic Cmoa web manga website. Next month it will expand to be published on other digital outlets in Japan.
Komura recently concluded two other manga series: Akumade Futari wa Business desu (translated as Those Two Keep it Strictly Business) and Okuchi no Sensei wa Shojo Danshi (translated as The Dentist Was a Virgin Guy).
