Yanmar Holdings, a machinery manufacturer, is producing its own omnibus anime titled Miru: Paths To My Future. The anime will consist of five episodes, and Yanmar has shared the studios and crew members for each episode. The show will launch this April.

The first episode is called “Stardust Memory” and is receiving its animation production at LinQ, while Norio Kashima is in the director’s seat and Yasushi Hirano is penning the script.

The next episode, “The King of the Forest,” is having its animation production done at TriF Studio, with Okamoto working as both the director and character designer, and Aya Matsui handling the script.

The third episode of Miru: Paths To My Future, “Londonderry Air,” has Scooter Films x Shirogumi Inc. in charge of the animation production. The director is Tomohiro Kawamura and the script was written by Kazuho Hyodo.

Next is “Re: MIRU.” REIRS is doing the animation production, and Naofumi Mishina is helming the episode as the director. Yasushi Hirano is once again writing the script.

Finally there’s the episode “Wait, I’ll Be There.” Its animation production is being taken care of by LARX×Studio Hibari. Saori Nakashiki is the director and Katsuyuki Sumisawa is the scriptwriter.

Yanmar Holdings gave this description for the plot:

Miru: Paths To My Future Plot

In the distant future, humans create a robot named MIRU capable of traveling through time, visiting various eras, places, and even parallel worlds. Unlike some robots, MIRU isn’t equipped with weapons. Instead, it helps people overcome immense obstacles peacefully, encouraging new beginnings without violence.
MIRU continuously evolves by interacting with people, learning and growing to assist those struggling to survive. It listens to their problems and offers support. By helping others, MIRU sets off a “Butterfly Effect,” of dramatic change guiding society toward a brighter future.
Why was MIRU created? What is its purpose? Can it save the Earth and humanity from a dystopian future?
