Kaitou Queen wa Circus ga Osuki (The Phantom Thief Queen Loves the Circus)—AKA Mirage QUEEN aime cirque—is a popular series of children’s novels by writer Kaoru Hayamine and illustrator K2 Shoukai. The series will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year, and one of the ways it aims to do so is with an OVA adaptation.
Mirage Queen follows the titular phantom thief, who travels the world in an airship. There currently aren’t any details on the anime, but the OVA marks the first time for the series to be adapted since it debuted back in 2002.
The latest volume of the long-running series will hit shelves in Japan on July 14. Stay tuned for more details, and look out for updates via the newly launched official website and Twitter account. For now, we just have the logo below to go on.
