A premiere date has been locked in for the Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi anime. As revealed during a recent livestream, the adaptation of Aya Hirakawa’s manga will kick off its broadcast in Japan on July 9, following an advance screening on June 21.
In the meantime, a new visual is here:
The Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi has been running in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine since December 2021.
The story of Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi follows Yuu Ayase, who the Mikadono family takes in after his mother, a well-known actor, passes away. Now Ayase finds himself surrounded by three prodigy sisters, as if living up to his mother’s legacy wasn’t already tough enough as it is. Things take a turn for the rom-com when the sisters—actor Kazuki, martial artist Niko and shogi player Miwa—begin to develop feelings for Ayase.
Tadahito Matsubayashi is directing the anime, with Yusuke Inoue on character designs for the P.A. Works production.
