The anime Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms started on October 3, and now Pony Canyon has dropped a subtitled “climax trailer.”

The anime is being made at TriF Studio, with creator Sae Okamoto helming the project as director. The person handling series scripts is Yasuhiro Nakanishi of My Love Story With Yamada-kun at Lv999 and Kaguya-sama: Love is War. Credit for character design goes to Terumi Nishii and Yoko Uchida.
Looking toward the cast, Toshiyuki Toyonaga plays Hikaru, Tomokazu Sugita plays Alma, Yu Shimamura plays Aki, Romi Park plays Kagami, Yūichi Nakamura plays Fist, Kaito Ishikawa plays Sinis and Dex, Amatsuki plays Tohdoh, Hiroki Touchi plays Aljis, Aoi Yuki plays Fubuki, Yoko Hikasa plays Amaryllis, and Kappei Yamaguchi plays Yakumo.
The opening theme song is titled “VORTEX;” the ending theme is called “karma” and both are performed by Setsuko of Kuhaku Gokko. These two songs were composed, produced, and arranged by Hiroyuki Sawano.
A pilot anime episode came out in 2019, and it received an English dub as well. None of this would be happening if it hadn’t been for successful Kickstarter and Japanese Campfire crowdfunding campaigns. It wasn’t until 2022 that word came out that the project would include an entire anime series, and now here we are.
There is also a Mecha-Ude: Mechanical Arms manga adaptation by Yoshino Koyoka that is available in English through Asuki.
Crunchyroll offered this description for the plot:
