The theatrical anime adaptation of the manga Me & Roboco will hit Japanese screens on April 18, 2025. The film was initially set for a winter 2024 release.
Me & Roboco creator Shuhei Miyazaki commented that the delay will allow for “ultra fighting miracle bomber high quality.” Cool.
Additionally, director Akitaro Daichi promised that the film will be “amazingly cute, cool and will make you laugh.”
The Me & Roboco manga has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2020, and received a TV anime adaptation in December 2022.
Here’s how VIZ Media sums up the manga’s story:
In a world where most families own a cute maid robot, average elementary kid Bondo hopes for one of his own. But the wacky robot who shows up is anything but average!
