A new teaser visual for Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc. season 2 arrived along with confirmation that the series will continue in 2026. There’s no release date at the time of this writing, but you can see the new piece of art above.
Season 2 plans were first unveiled back in December of last year. The news was revealed just in time for the publication of the manga’s final chapter, which launched today on Shonen Jump+.
The first season was made at Moe and J.C. Staff, with Masahiro Hiraoka — who previously did CG direction for the second One-Punch Man television anime — helming the project as director. The person in charge of both writing and supervising the series scripts was Shingo Nagai of Uma Musume Pretty Derby Season 3 and Girly Air Force.
Credit for character design went to Hidehiro Asama. Sound production was handled by Masafumi Mima. The music was composed by Makoto Miyazaki, who is known for working on One-Punch Man and SPY × FAMILY. Fairouz Ai plays Kana Sakuragi, and Yumiri Hanamori plays Hitomi Koshigaya.
The original manga—which debuted in October 2021 on the Shonen Jump+ service—is published in English by MANGA Plus. VIZ Media is releasing it and they gave this description:
