What do you get when you mix Lovecraftian horrors with cute anime characters? Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos, of course.
The TV series, based on light novels written by Manta Aisora and illustrated by Koin, debuts on April 9, but you can check out a quick clip of Nyarlathotep turned moe below.
Nyarko is a formless Cthulhu deity of chaos who takes on the form of a silver-haired girl. One night she saves high schooler Mahiro Yasaka from aliens, thus entangling him in her web and kicking off the bizarre romantic comedy. Nyarko made her animated debut in the Haiyoru! Nyaruani series of net cartoons, and the cast will be reprising their roles for the new April anime.
Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos will stream outside of Asia via Crunchyroll as it airs. Anyone plan on watching?
