It’s almost time for the girls of Nijigasaki High School to return to the aspiring idol stage. The last day of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 4th Live! ～Love the Life We Live～ brought with it news that the second season is officially set to premiere in Japan on April 2, and the group’s 5th live event is scheduled to follow sometime in 2022.

The first season of the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club anime aired from October 2020 to December 2020. Funimation streamed the series in North America while Crunchyroll streamed it in the UK and AnimeLab handled Australia’s stream, and here’s how Crunchyroll sums up the story:
Nijigasaki High School is known for their diverse subjects and the freedom they give to students. Second-year student Yu Takasaki has been turned on to the charms of school idols, so she knocks on the door of the School Idol Club with her friend, Ayumu Uehara. Sometimes friends, sometimes rivals, the members of this club each contribute their own thoughts and motivations to the group.
