A TV anime adaptation was announced for Shoji Goji’s Loner Life in Another World light novel series back in January, and now we have more details. A new trailer has arrived along with info on the main staff and cast, as well as plans for an October 2024 premiere.
The latest cast additions include Haruka Shiraishi as Class Rep, Hina Suguta as Gal Leader, Kyohei Natsume as Nerd A, Hiromu Mineta as Jock A and Tomohiro Yamaguchi as Delinquent A. The anime is being directed by Akio Kazumi (Fist of the Blue Sky Regenesis), with Kenta Ihara (Ishura) on series composition and Keiya Nakano (Keijo!!!!!!!!) handling character designs for the Hayabusa Film and Passione production.

When acerbic loner Haruka gets transported to another world with his class, he’s not big on adventuring, but he wouldn’t mind some cool magic of his own. Unfortunately, the magic powers are first-come-first-served, and by Haruka’s turn, there’s nothing good left to choose from. Now he’ll have to take on this fantasy world the hard way, with a hodgepodge selection of bizarre skills…and with all the girls in class tagging along!
