Light Novel Cop Craft Dragnet Mirage Reloaded Gets Anime SeriesCop Craft Dragnet Mirage Reloaded, a series of light novels by Shoji Gatoh, is getting the anime treatment.

The series, which is illustrated by Range Murata, started in 2009, and its seventh volume is set to be released in July. A “buddy police action” story, it takes place in the fictional San Teresa City, which is home to both humans and beings from an alternate universe. Its main characters are human detective Kei Matoba and Tirana, a knight from that alternate universe.

Author Shoji Gatoh is best known to western anime fans as the creator of Full Metal Panic! and Amagi Brilliant Park.

Illustrator Range Murata, who created a teaser visual for the announcement, contributed designs for Last Exile and Blue Submarine No. 6.

The Cop Craft Dragnet Mirage Reloaded anime series is set for 2019.
