Latest Pokémon Anime Movie to Air on Cartoon Network

Tons of Pokémon action is on the way thanks to the upcoming worldwide October 12 release of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y on Nintendo 3DS. To celebrate their arrival, Cartoon Network will be hosting a special event on Saturday, October 19, headlined by an airing of Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened.

The movie will be followed by an early look at the latest season of the anime, Pokémon the Series: XY. It all starts with Pokémon the Movie: Kyurem vs. the Sword of Justice, so prepare for the full night of monster catchin’ with the trailer below.

Genesect and the Legend Awakened originally premiered in Japan back in July as ExtremeSpeed Genesect: Mewtwo Awakens. Here’s the full lineup for the night:
