Latest Gantz Trailer Offers the Best Look Yet

We’ve posted about the upcoming Gantz film a few times, and while each tidbit has offered a hair more than the previous, the latest video to surface finally gives us a minute or so of solid footage.

This live-action take on Hiroya Oku’s manga, directed by Shinsuke Sato (The Princess Blade, Tokyo Lullaby), is set to span two films. The two college students at its core, Kei Kurono and Masaru Kato, are being portrayed by Kazunari Ninomiya and Kenichi Matsuyama, respectively.

The first film premieres in January, 2011. Check out the trailer below:

Does anyone here follow Gantz? I’ve only seen the anime, but I’ve been meaning to pick up Dark Horse’s release of the manga for quite a while. Now seems like as good a time as any.
