For claiming to be so laid-back, Laid-Back Camp is pretty ambitious: The anime adaptation of the manga by Afro has just picked up a fourth season.
That’s the word from the franchise’s official X account this weekend. Afro contributed a new illustration to go along with the announcement. A release date has not yet announced.
The original Laid-Back Camp manga, which is about girls campin’ around in a casual way, kicked off back in 2015. The first season of anime followed in 2018, and has been going strong since. There’s also been a feature anime film and a live-action TV series.
The latest season aired from April to June of this year.
Here’s how Yen Press describes the first volume of the manga:
Rin enjoys camping by the lakeshore, Mt. Fuji in view. Nadeshiko rides her bike to see Mt. Fuji, too. As the two eat cup noodles together, what scenery will they behold? This series will make readers fall in love with camping!
We’ll have more news about Laid-Back Camp season 4 as it comes!
