The second season of the Laid-Back Camp anime—based on the manga by Afro—just came to a close with its 13th episode, and now we know what’s next on the horizon. The Laid-Back Camp anime film has been given a release window, so look for these girls to set up camp in theaters sometime in 2022.

The Laid-Back Camp anime film will have all of the main staff from the TV anime returning, from director Yoshiaki Kyogoku to writers Jin Tanaka and Mutsumi Ito, as well as character designer Mutsumi Sasaki. Animation production will once again be handled at C-Station.

Yoshiaki Kyogoku whipped up a concept visual to go along with the timing announcement.

And Ena Saito VA Rie Takahashi confirmed this isn’t an April Fools’ Joke on Twitter.
