The heat is on as musical prodigy Kanade Kohinata makes the big move to Seiso Academy, where the orchestra club is making moves toward Nationals. You can watch the high-level competition unfold in Sentai Filmworks’ La Corda d’Oro – Blue Sky complete season 2 collection,



Despite being considered a prodigy, Kanade found herself hitting a bit of a sophomore slump as a violinist. As unfocused and unmotivated as she became, her incredible talents remain, so her childhood friend Ritsu Kisaragi recommends attending the prestigious Seiso Academy and joining the orchestra club.

Kanade does just that along with her younger violinist brother, Kyouya, but they quickly learn just how competitive this new world is. Seiso Academy is in contention for the National Championships, and if Kanade and Kyouya expect to succeed they’re both going to need to up their game. Combine that with the pressure of a dozen different men vying for her affection and Kanade has one wild school year ahead of her.



La Corda d’Oro made its debut as a role-playing game on PC in 2003 before being ported to PlayStation 2 and PSP in 2004 and 2005, respectively. The anime adaptation is directed by Kōjin Ochi (Sengoku Musou, Case Closed), with Keiichirō Ōchi on series composition for the TYO production.
