Key Visual Novel Summer Pockets Gets Anime in 2025Back in 2021, we reported that Summer Pockets, the visual novel from the folks at Key/Visual Arts, was getting an anime adaptation. Now comes a preview and key art for that series, along with the news that it’ll hit screens in 2025.

We’ve also got a list of cast and crew for the series. It’ll star Shōya Chiba as Hairi Takahara, Konomi Kohara as Shiroha Naruse, Natsumi Takamori as Ao Sorakado, Nene Hieda as Kamome Kushima, and Emiri Iwai as Tsumugi Wenders.

All those actors are reprising their roles from the game except new addition Nene Hieda. Kushima’s original voice actor, Tomomi Mineuchi, retired from voice acting in 2022.

Meanwhile, crew members include:

Scripts: Keiichiro Ochi (Go Go Loser Ranger)
Character designs: Mai Otsuka (Non Non Biyori)

The Summer Pockets game was released in 2018 in Japanese and 2020 in English. Here’s how Steam describes the game:
