The ongoing Toilet-bound Hanako-kun season 2 anime has a new cast member to introduce. The latest to join the adaptation of AidaIro’s hit manga is none other than Kana Hanazawa (Mitsuri Kanroji in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba), who will voice Shijima-san of the Art Room.

The first season of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun ran from January to March 2020 and featured direction by Masaomi Ando, writing by Yasuhiro Nakanishi and animation production by Lerche. The second season kicked off its run in January 2025.

Kamome Academy is rumored to have many mysteries, the strangest of which involves the mischievous ghost of Hanako-kun. When occult-loving high schooler Nene Yashiro accidentally becomes bonded to him, she uncovers a hidden world of supernatural beings. Now the two of them are conspiring to keep the peace between student and supernatural—that is, if they can only stay out of trouble themselves.
