K Anime Movie Adaptation Announced

GoRa Project and GoHands’ K anime has officially been green-lit for a movie adaptation, according to an announcement made at Sunday’s “K-Who is the next-” event. Details are scant at the moment, but the film is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan sometime in 2014.

Viz Media streamed K alongside its Japanese television run, and more recently announced the acquisition of the series’ master license. Production of a sequel to the TV anime was green-lit back in December 2012.
