Last month we got to see some updated and new designs for the characters of JUJUTSU KAISEN season 2, and now we have info on the theme song artists that will begin and end each episode with a bang. The opening theme song will be “Ao no Sumika,” as performed by singer-songwriter Tatsuya Kitani, and the ending theme will be “Akari,” as performed by Soushi Sakiyama.

Based on the manga by Gege Akutami and following the act of the first season and the smash hit prequel film JUJUTSU KAISEN 0, JUJUTSU KAISEN season 2 is coming back to the airwaves in Japan on July 6. Crunchyroll streamed the first season of MAPPA’s adaptation and the movie, describing the main series story like so:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
