Jujutsu Kaisen Manga Celebrates 10 Million Copies in Circulation

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga, which debuted in March 2018, currently has more than 10 million copies in circulation. This includes both print and digital copies, and Jujutsu Kaisen’s Japanese Twitter account shared the news, calling for a celebration.

According to Anime News Network, “Oricon reports that the manga had 2.5 million copies in circulation in November 2019, when the anime was announced. The manga then had 4.5 million copies in May 2020.”

That means that the manga’s circulation jumped a whopping 400% in a single year, and that it also leapt approximately 230% in six months’ time.

VIZ Media is publishing the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, and the anime, which is being produced by MAPPA and directed by The God of High School’s Sunghoo Park, began playing in Japan earlier this month. The anime is available streaming on Crunchyroll.
