Chibi-fied isekai mashup anime Isekai Quartet is officially coming back for more. Isekai Quartet season 3 has been revealed, and the next season aims to introduce the world of The Eminence in Shadow.
The Isekai Quartet anime’s return will include more familiar faces from previous seasons, including Yusuke Kobayashi as Subaru from Re:ZERO, Satoshi Hino as Ains Ooal Gown from Overlord, Jun Fukushima as Kazuma from KONOSUBA and Aoi Yuki as Tanya from Saga of Tanya the Evil, among others.
Isekai fans can also look forward to the likes of The Eminence in Shadow cast members like Seiichiro Yamashita (Cid Kagenou), Asami Seto (Alpha) and more. Many of these actors pull double (or triple!) duty. Seto, for instance, also voices Raphtalia from The Rising of the Shield Hero and CZ2128 Delta from Overlord.
A new visual arrived with the news:
Minoru Ashina directs and writes once again, with Minoru Takehara returning to design characters and serve as chief animation director. Ruka Kawada is also back on music for the Studio Puyukai production.
A movie followed the TV anime seasons on June 10, 2022. Crunchyroll streams the first two seasons of Isekai Quartet and the movie, describing the series like so:
The button appeared out of nowhere. There weren’t any signs NOT to push it…so the solution is obvious, right? Is it a trap or the start of something new and exciting? The crews of Re:Zero, Overlord, Konosuba, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil will find out when they go from their world to another and get stuck in…class?! See what adorable chaos they’ll get up to in this collection of shorts!
