Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima+, the second season of the anime Hypnosis Mic -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima, is all set to debut on October 6. Ahead of this a trailer has dropped that gives info on the crew and lets us listen to part of the opening theme song “Rise From Dead.”

According to the trailer, Yumi Kuroiwa is the chief animation director, Kazutaka Ema is the prop designer, Ayano Okamoto is the art director, Kanako Hokari is the color key artist, Yohei Miyawaki is the compositing director of photography, Mizuho Kanda is the CG director, Eiichi Nishimura is the editor, and Satoshi Motoyama is the sound director. Credit for music composition goes to R O N, and the sound is being produced by Half HP Studio.

It had previously been revealed that Katsumi Ono is returning to direct.

Here is what we know about the cast: Subaru Kimura plays Ichiro Yamada, Haruki Ishiya plays Jiro Yamada, Kōhei Amasaki plays Saburo Yamada, Shintarō Asanuma plays Samatoki Aohitsugi, Wataru Komada plays Jyuto Iruma, Shin’ichirō Kamio plays Rio Mason Busujima, Yusuke Shirai plays Ramuda Amemura, Sōma Saitō plays Gentaro Yumeno, Yukihiro Nozuyama plays Dice Arisugawa, Sho Hayami plays Jakurai Jinguji, Ryūichi Kijima plays Hifumi Izanami, Kent Itō plays Doppo Kannonzaka, Ryōta Iwasaki plays Nurude Sasara, Kengo Kawanishi plays Rosho Tsutsujimori, Takaya Kuroda plays Rei Amayado, Shouta Hayama plays Kuko Harai, Yuki Sakakihara plays Yushi Aimono, and Eiji Takeuchi plays Hitoya Amaguni.

Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of the anime and gave this description for it:

Legendary rap group The Dirty Dawg could have taken Japan by storm, but then they broke up. Now each member fights in one of the four rival groups. Battles for turf are fought with rap and the Hypnosis Mic, a microphone that can affect the human spirit.
