How I Attended an All-Guy's Mixer

A streaming home has been locked in for the How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer anime, which is on the way to HIDIVE as part of the Fall 2024 simulcast season. The adaptation of Nana Aokawa’s manga will premiere this October, and ahead of that fans just had a chance this weekend to check out the world premiere of episodes 1 and 7 on August 25 at Anime NYC.

The How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer anime is directed by Kazuomi Koga, who is known for working on The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases and Pokémon XY. The person handling series scripts is Deko Akao, whose credits include Komi Can’t Communicate. The soundtrack is composed by TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND.

The original How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer manga by Nana Aokawa is available in English through Square Enix’s Manga UP! Global. Here’s how HIDIVE describes the anime adaptation:

How I Attended an All-Guy’s Mixer Plot

College student Tokiwa gets invited to a mixer by his female classmate Suo. But when he arrives with his friends Asagi and Hagi, they’re greeted by three dazzlingly handsome men. Turns out these three cute boys are actually women in drag—still in costume from their day jobs at a butler cafe that caters to a female clientele! As the six get to know each other, they soon find themselves getting closer in unexpectedly heartwarming (and hilarious) ways.
