Three cast additions have been revealed for the Haigakura anime, which is lined up for a premiere sometime this fall. The official website unveiled designs and the voice actors behind the characters, so let’s take a look at who else is getting in on the adaptation of Shinobu Takayama’s manga.

Haigakura cast additions include:

Ryohei Kimura (Howzer in The Seven Deadly Sins) as Hiki:

Ryota Suzuki (Yu Ishigami in Kaguya-sama: Love is War) as Sanu:

Kazuhiko Inoue (Ninzaburo Shiratori in Detective Conan) as Hakugo:

The series is directed by Junichi Yamamoto (More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers) with scripts by Yu Murai (Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion). Character designs are by Masaki Sato, and music is by Yūki Kurihara. The animation studio is Typhoon Graphics.

Haigakura has been running since 2008, and there are currently 16 collected volumes on offer.

Haigakura Plot

The manga is about Kashikans, officers who must track down gods and capture them to restore order to the world. There’s no official English adaptation available yet, but maybe this anime will spur some interest for publishers. In the meantime, we’ll just have to look forward to seeing how the adaptation turns out.
